Care Instructions

Each piece is handcrafted using high-quality precious metals and natural crystals. Proper care will help preserve its beauty and ensure it lasts for many years.

Because our jewellery includes gemstones and minerals ranging across the Mohs hardness scale (1–10), care requirements may vary. Please follow the guidelines below.

---

General Care

To protect your jewellery:

Remove jewellery before showering, swimming, or bathing

Avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, sunscreen, and cosmetics

Remove before cleaning, gardening, exercising, or heavy work

Avoid dropping or knocking your jewellery against hard surfaces

Always put jewellery on last when getting dressed

Chemicals and impacts can damage both metals and gemstones.

Understanding Gemstone Hardness (Mohs Scale)

The Mohs scale measures a mineral’s resistance to scratching:

Soft Stones (1–4)

Examples: Opal, Pearl, Malachite, Turquoise

Scratch easily

Require gentle handling

Store separately

Medium Hardness Stones (5–7)

Examples: Lapis Lazuli, Moonstone, Quartz, Amethyst

Durable but still require care

Avoid hard impacts

Hard Stones (8–10)

Examples: Topaz, Sapphire, Ruby, Diamond

Very durable

Still can chip or crack if struck

Harder stones can scratch softer stones if stored together.

Precious Metal Care

Our jewellery may include:

Sterling Silver

Gold (solid or plated)

Gold-filled metals

Copper or Brass

To protect metals:

Store in a dry place

Keep away from moisture and humidity

Use a soft polishing cloth only

Do not use harsh chemical cleaners

Some metals naturally tarnish over time. This is normal and can be gently polished.

Cleaning Instructions

To clean your jewellery safely:

Do:

Use a soft, dry polishing cloth

Use mild soap and lukewarm water if needed

Dry thoroughly

Do NOT:

Use ultrasonic cleaners

Use chemical jewellery cleaners

Soak soft or porous stones

Storage Instructions

Proper storage is very important.

Please store your jewellery:

In a jewellery box or soft pouch

Separately from other pieces

Away from sunlight

In a cool, dry place

This prevents scratches, tarnish, and damage.

Important Notice

Due to the natural properties of genuine minerals:

Each stone is unique

Some stones are naturally more delicate

Normal wear over time is expected

This is part of the beauty of natural, handcrafted jewellery.
